PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Over 15,000 sq/ft of WALLSHIELD® and WALLSHIELD® Flashing was used on the Vestas Tower Assembly Plant. WALLSHIELD® was chosen as the weather resistive barrier behind an open joint rainscreen system for its rating of 212 perms, making it the most vapor and air permeable weather resistant membrane in the industry.

Vestas is the largest producer of wind turbines in the world, and the $250M, 600,000 ft/sq assembly plant makes it the largest wind tower manufacturing facility in the world.
