PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Over 800,000 ft2 of WRAPSHIELD® was installed on
the 2 million ft2 McCarran Airport Terminal 3.
WRAPSHIELD® was chosen because it combines the
best properties of a vapor permeable membrane
and an air barrier in one innovative affordable
product.

With a rating of 50 perms, WRAPSHIELD® provides the
highest vapor permeability in a commercial quality
air barrier breather membrane.

The $2.4 billion construction project began January
2010 with a completed date slated for Spring 2011.
More than 1800 skilled labor’s are on the job site.
 
The expansion is part of a $4 billion, 20 year
master plan. Terminal 3 will allow McCarron to
reach its maximum sustainable capacity of 53
million arriving and departing passengers per year.
