WRAPSHIELDSA® SELF-ADHERED

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
VaproShield WRAPSHIELDSA® SELF-ADHERED was installed in the $150 million expansion project of the Central Washington Hospital. 60,000 Sq.Ft. of WRAPSHIELDSA® SELF-ADHERED was used for complete adhesion to the modular wall system, protecting the panels during shipping while exposed during construction. A spray on moisture barrier was originally specified but the WRAPSHIELDSA® SELF-ADHERED proved to be a more cost effective choice while also providing a higher perm rating: 50 perms.

The 190,000 Sq.Ft. addition includes one story underground and four above, and will nearly double the size of the region's largest trauma facility. Central Washington Hospital broke ground on August 25, 2009, and plans to complete the tower project in May 2011.
