PROJECT DESCRIPTION Over 5000 sq. ft of WALLSHIELD® was installed at the Aloft Hotel in Tempe, Arizona. WALLSHIELD® is the most vapor and air permeable weather resistant membrane in the industry with a rating of 212 perms. WALLSHIELD® allows trapped interior moisture to escape, reducing the risk of mold, mildew and rot.
The $9.5 Million Aloft Hotel in Tempe, AZ was the first LEED certified hotel in Arizona and also for the Aloft brand. The hotel uses a heating/cooling system for only those rooms reserved, natural daylight in 75% of their public spaces, environmental cleaning products, optional housecleaning for their guests and only Arizona native plants allowing for water efficiency.
