Tyson Discovery Center
The Tyson Discovery Center, opened in January 2007 is located on the campus of the Tyson World Headquarters in Springdale, Arkansas.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Tyson Discovery Center, opened in January 2007 is located on the campus of the Tyson World Headquarters in Springdale, Arkansas. The 285,000 square foot Discovery Center was designed to help the company create new products for the ever-changing needs of their customers. The facility houses test kitchens, a pilot plant and office space.

This "rain screen design" project required over 30,000 square feet of VaproShield's green WallShield under the Trespa panels.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
VaproShield products were designed with nature and the built environment in mind and are 100% recyclable. WallShield is constructed from a three-layer, spun bonded polypropylene fabric. WallShield is inert and can be recycled into its original bead form for reuse in other manufacturing processes.

          
 
 
WALLSHIELD is a Weather Resistive Vapor and Air Permeable Membrane and its unique construction allows moisture to continue to filter through to the exterior of the building during and after construction and occupancy.
