PROJECT DESCRIPTION
VaproShield WrapShield Black was used in the $80 million new construction project of the Crocker Art Museum. With precious artwork indoors, they needed to keep the outdoor elements and moisture out. They installed 90,000 ft2 of WrapShield Black which was chosen for it’s perm rating of 50 while combining the best properties of a vapor permeable membrane and an air barrier in one affordable product.

This 125,000 ft2 new building is a much needed addition to the museum, tripling the size of the facility offering more gallery space, education center, auditorium, and an additional courtyard.

The expansion project is expected to be open to the public in October of 2010.
