Rain Screen Design Components

VaproBatten and VaproVent Strips combined with the WALLSHIELD® or WRAPSHIELD® products create an effective rain screen design system.

VaproVent Strips are available in two types: 

  • VaproVent L Strip
  • VaproVent Hook Strip

VaproVent™ L Strip installs at the top and bottom of the building envelope assembly preventing insect invasion and providing maximum ventilation.

VaproVent™ Hook Strip is engineered to install at the bottom of the building envelope assembly. The base flange easily attaches to all types of horizontal cladding.
